Zorita's new single is a hazy, late-summer track in which Zorita shows their dark, sensual and mysterious side. It centers around two lovers that pull and push at the same time – like the opposite poles of a magnet. Not being able to resist the attraction while both knowing that it will all end in disaster.

 

The song was inspired by a 24 hour travel overseas to a small Indiana town by singer Carlos Zorita Diaz to meet up with the love of his life. But he ended up in front of a locked door. The entanglement of facades, longing and enchantment all come together in Zorita's new single.

 

The song was recorded by the band during a writing session in an apple orchard, and produced and mixed by Merlijn Verboom. Mastering was done by Greg Calbi from Sterling Sound. 

 

'Don't You Lie' will be released the 26th of August on all streaming and download platforms.
