Vocals, Spanish Guitar

Carlos his origin is shrouded in mystery. Some say he sailed to Amsterdam in a cargo ship carrying boxes of Cuban cigars. Others say he stayed in Holland’s capital just because he likes the red light district so much. Anyway, Carlos was born and raised in Antwerp (Belgium), to a Belgian mother and a Spanish father. After finishing high school in Brussels, he ended up in Amsterdam. He took going to university as an excuse to make music and drink high liquor all day, which he has been doing since he was just a seven year old boy (playing music that is). Carlos also studied classical and flamenco guitar at the conservatory for a while, before dropping out to form Zorita. He still accompanies flamenco dancers on guitar and composes music for the theatre.
